Schizmu, previously known as Just… is a Toronto based blog covering a wide variety of topics. We currently have two authors but are always looking for more.
Here you will find everything from happenings in Toronto to events occurring around the world, from personal stories to opinions on governmental policy. What brings the authors together is that we do live in this crazy city.

Founder of the Schizmu blog. She is a twenty-something year old studying Political Science at York University. She lives in midtown with her partner of two years with their sheltie mix pooch and two fuzzy cushions that are shaped suspiciously like cats.
She is a news junkie, a history buff and writes on a lot of social issues. Her “real” job consists of raising money for breast cancer research.

“Here’s a few things to get a sense of who I am: I go to the University of Toronto (as a Specialist in Cinema Studies), I live in the downtown core, I wish I was cool enough to be a detective in old film noir movies, I cheer on the Denver Broncos every year, I’m in my twenties and still don’t know how to ride a bike, I will take a nice, cold Labatt Blue any time, and if you asked me when I was ten what my dream job would be, I probably would have said a movie star acting along side Sandra Bullock (I went through a big phase) or a magician.”
