So Israel finally decided to call a cease fire today. How very noble of them. After 1,200 Palestinians are now dead, most of them of course civilians.
Mr. Olmert, the Prime Minister, said that he was sorry for the civilian deaths. Call me a cynic but I might be a little more likely to believe him if the Israeli army had actually taken the time not to target United Nations posts. You know the refugee camps and the schools.
Once again terrorists are provided with ammunition far stronger than any missile. How can one possibly claim to be the “good guys” when the largest products of your actions are innocent lives destroyed, dead and maimed?
When will we learn that wars against terrorism are not wars of military might? Every dead body is piece of evidence that terrorists will hold high while denouncing Israel and the United States as evil; allowing them to reruit more disenfranchised youth to their mission of hate.
