Elections, Elections, Elections

There are many reasons to prefer the style of Canadian elections over American. First thing that comes to mind is politeness. Incidences of “bird shit” are really quite rare, unlike the biweekly meltdowns of the US political campaigns.

My favourite aspect however is that Canadians are not into dragging campaigns. Quite honestly we have lots of shit to do and we don’t want to be bothered by a political clusterfuck that lasts for a year. And we would rather not look at Harper’s beady little eyes for that long.

Speaker of Harper, he’s not as fruity as he would like to think himself; sweet and colourful. I’m thinking more like potato; bland, boring, and a little lumpy. Oh and he can cut the fluffy bullshit ads about him being on “the right track”. He’s not human, he’s not a everyday kind of person, he’s a little soul sucker.

Moving on.

What was with the bullshit on the debates.

Harper, Layton, and Duceppe are trying to “back out” on comments about backing out of the debate if greenie May was included. *sigh* The excuses are sad, if we let her talk what if she does something we don’t like. Listen boys we know you don’t want to have to give over any part of that pie that you already have, but she is the leader of a political party that receives federal funding, she belongs there, end of story.
