Pregnancy and Delivery Carnival

Welcome to the May 26, 2008 edition of the Pregnancy and Delivery. It’s our first edition and I am super excited about the great response that has been received and I’m hoping for an equally successful event next month.

Sonja Stewart presents Pregnancy Uglies #1 - Zits, Melasma and Facial Hair, or: Sure, you’re glowing. You’re also sporting a moustache. posted at Parenting Squad.

Julie Heath - More4kids Inc. presents Pregnancy Skin Care Tips posted at Julie Heath - More4kids Inc..

A little more abstract piece of health info but if you’re trying to get pregnant it probably won’t hurt to try, Mag Herrera presents Natural Recipe for a Healthy Prostate posted at Life. Money. Development., saying, “Sharing a reader’s natural recipe for a healthy prostate.”

Aparna presents Bhramari Pranayam posted at Beauty & Personality Grooming, saying, “Practice of Bhramari is beneficial for pregnant women. Quoting from this article in Yoga magazine by Dr Vibha Singh, “Brahmari pranayama vibrates the whole brain. Vibration of the cerebral cortex sends impulses to the hypothalamus which has the capacity to control the pituitary gland- the master of all glands. In this way, brahmari done regularly for only a few minutes daily throughout pregnancy keeps the endocrinal system regulated to maintain the pregnancy successfully.”"

Shaheen Lakhan presents Acknowledging Vaccination Concerns posted at GNIF Brain Blogger, saying, “When it comes to parents who choose not to vaccinate their children, a study reports two types: radical (refuses everything) and reformist (selectively opt out of certain vaccines).”

Tonya presents Natural Labor - Some Suggestions For A More Comfortable Labor And Delivery posted at My Pregnancy Blog, saying, “Natural labor followed by childbirth without any intervention from doctors or medical procedures is safe and most common.”

Daniel Tague presents Music for Birth and Labor: Lessons From the Labor and Delivery Floor posted at Music Makes Sense, saying, “A music therapist’s experience using music strategies for a client in labor and delivery.”

Julie presents Pregnancy and Asthma posted at M4K Pregnancy and Health.

And from here on “Just” Hypatia presents Get With The Research on Episiotomies saying, “Keep yourself and perhaps your doctor informed when it comes to common medical practices, always do your research.”

That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of pregnancy and delivery using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
